Mila Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock enjoys growing success

Mila’s Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock is enjoying growing success following its launch last year, with a positive customer response leading to increasing adoption by fabricators and installers looking for a reliable, value-for-money solution.

Precisely engineered for single residential doors constructed from PVCu and aluminium, the Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock provides a dependable and cost-effective multipoint locking solution for residential projects.

It is designed to meet the requirements of PAS 24:2022 and is available from stock with next-day delivery, helping fabricators and housebuilders keep projects moving and avoid unnecessary delays.

Julie Holmes, Director and General Manager at Mila, explains: “The Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock has been developed to provide fabricators and installers with a dependable locking solution that offers both compliance and affordability. With the backing of ASSA ABLOY, customers can also have absolute confidence in the quality and reliable supply of the product.”

Enhanced resistance to forced entry

The Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock features security hooks positioned within 100mm of the pre-compression rollers to deliver strength at locking points, enhancing resistance to forced entry. These pre-compression rollers also facilitate smoother door engagement and improve weather sealing, reducing wear and enhancing the user experience.

Its universal application centre case has an unsprung design, making it suitable for front, side and rear doors. It also incorporates a centre-mounted anti-separation hook as standard, helping to improve system rigidity.

The 13mm one-piece keep is supplied with pre-fitted, strengthened plastic keep tidy boxes, offering improved mechanical durability while providing a neat, professional finish.

Accredited by Secured by Design, the police-preferred standard for security products, the Mila Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock is corrosion resistant to 240 hours of neutral salt spray and has been tested to 50,000 operating cycles for long-term performance.

Julie adds: “The positive response to the Eurospec Multipoint Door Lock has shown the demand for a locking solution that combines compliance and dependable performance with value and availability. With stock held ready for next-day delivery and the backing of ASSA ABLOY, this lock offers fabricators and installers the perfect practical solution.”
