Unique Window Systems has marked its 20th year in business, highlighting a period of sustained growth, investment and operational expansion.
The Leicester-based fabricator, which manufactures aluminium and PVC-U windows, doors and curtain walling, said its continued development has been driven by an ability to remain responsive as the business has scaled. The company reported that turnover has more than doubled since 2020.
During its anniversary year, Unique completed a number of strategic milestones, including the acquisition of the assets of AluFold Direct, which it said has strengthened its aluminium offering and expanded its capacity to support more complex projects.
The company has also invested in its workforce, making appointments across sales and commercial functions, alongside ongoing product development. Recent additions include aluminium heritage doors and an updated UniFold bifold system.
Unique said it has continued to expand its presence within the commercial sector, having now delivered more than 1,000 new build and commercial projects. These range from residential developments to multi-occupancy buildings.
Alongside its commercial activity, the business has maintained involvement in community initiatives, including support for DIY SOS and sponsorship of the Pro Con Leicestershire Awards.
Mir Patel, Aluminium Operations Manager at Unique Window Systems, said reaching the 20-year milestone reflects both long-term development and recent progress. He added that the company’s structure supports decision-making and customer engagement as it moves into its next phase of growth.
Unique Window Systems said its focus remains on strengthening its commercial offer, investing in infrastructure and continuing to support customers across the UK.
