Eurocell is celebrating 20 years of partnership with Ford Windows, as the fabricator also marks its 50th anniversary.

The partnership has supported Ford Windows’ growth from a local glazing business into a £20 million turnover operation employing 160 people across three UK sites and supplying many of the UK’s largest housebuilders.

Founded in 1976 as Ford Glass & Glazing by Charlie Ford, the business initially focused on timber frames and single glazing before making the move into PVC-U window manufacturing in 1996.

Support from Tony Morrison, now Key Account Manager at Eurocell, helped the company establish its PVC-U offer. Ford Windows later made the decision to focus fully on PVC-U fabrication, enabling expansion into the new build sector.

Philip Shackley, Managing Director at Ford Windows, said: “For us, it’s always been about more than price – we buy from people we trust. Eurocell has been with us every step of the way, in good times and difficult ones. That loyalty matters.”

Today, Ford Windows supplies a number of national housebuilders, including Barratt Developments and Taylor Wimpey Midlands, and continues to expand its premium and flush sash offering.

Gary Driscoll, Managing Director at Eurocell, said: “Ford Windows is a fantastic example of what long-term commitment, strong leadership and a focus on service can achieve. Over the years they have grown into one of the UK’s most respected fabricators in the new build sector, and we are proud to have supported them on that journey.”

Ford Windows is continuing to invest in expansion, including plans for a new factory as part of a five-year strategy to double turnover.
