With more than 30 years’ experience, Hull-based composite door manufacturer Hallmark Doors and Panels has built a reputation for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service to customers across the UK. This open and forward-thinking approach allowed Hallmark to identify growing demand for premium gold bar handles, driven by increasing consumer interest in luxury, design-led door aesthetics. Recognising a gap in the market, the team set out to develop a high-quality solution that would give customers access to a distinctive new hardware option.
Having made the decision to bring a new collection to market, Hallmark turned to long-standing hardware partner ERA. After more than a decade of working together, Hallmark knew ERA had the expertise, product development capabilities and commitment to quality needed to transform the concept into reality.
Hallmark currently purchases several Fab&Fix ranges from ERA, including Classic, Architectural, Heritage and Forged hardware ranges and approached ERA to explore how a premium gold bar handle collection could be developed and launched within an ambitious timeframe.
Following initial discussions, ERA undertook extensive research, testing and product development to ensure the finished collection met both Hallmark's quality standards and first-to-market objectives.
The result was the Satin Gold Bar Handle Collection: a sophisticated range of 316 Stainless Steel bar handles in a luxury satin gold finish available in 1000mm and 1600mm lengths. Designed to complement contemporary composite doors, the collection provides fabricators and homeowners with a premium hardware option that delivers both visual impact and lasting performance.
To create a complete and coordinated solution, matching hardware components, including escutcheons and letterplates, are part of the exclusive Satin Gold collection, ensuring a consistent aesthetic across the entire door set.

Launched exclusively to Hallmark in July 2026, the Satin Gold Bar Handle Collection is available through Hallmark's online Door Designer Tool, enabling customers to configure their preferred door design and visualise the finished product before ordering.
