Carl F Groupco Expands Warehouse Capacity

Carl F Groupco has expanded its operational capacity with the addition of a new warehouse facility at its Peterborough headquarters, adding more than 250 additional 1m pallet spaces.

Located adjacent to the company’s existing head office operation, the warehouse has been developed to integrate with current logistics and distribution processes, increasing storage capacity and supporting operational efficiency.

According to Carl F Groupco, the investment forms part of its wider growth strategy and is designed to support increasing customer demand while maintaining service levels.

Owen Coop, CEO at Carl F Groupco, said: “This latest investment reflects our long-term commitment to our customers. As demand continues to grow, it’s essential that our infrastructure keeps pace. This new warehouse gives us the capacity and flexibility to do exactly that.”

He continued: “By expanding our warehousing directly alongside our existing operation, we are able to increase stockholding, improve efficiencies across logistics and strengthen our ability to deliver a fast, reliable service. This is about making sure we consistently meet customer expectations, every time.”

The additional warehouse space will allow the company to expand its product holding across its window and door hardware portfolio, further supporting fabricator customers throughout the UK.

Carl F Groupco says the investment reflects its ongoing focus on infrastructure, logistics and service capability as market conditions continue to tighten.

The company supplies hardware products to the UK fenestration industry from warehousing facilities in Peterborough and Cumbernauld, supporting nationwide distribution including the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands.
