Carl F Groupco has expanded its hardware portfolio with the introduction of a 2* Security Door Handle from Dynamic Hardware.
Owen Coop, CEO at Carl F Groupco, said the product has been developed to combine security performance with practical application across both new-build and retrofit projects.
The handle has been manufactured and tested to TS007:2024 standards and carries the BSI Kitemark. When paired with a 1* or 3* cylinder, it achieves TS007 3* door security. The 2* rating is clearly marked on the handle, providing visible reassurance for homeowners and acting as a deterrent.
Carl F Groupco states that the handle is also Secured by Design approved, meeting recognised police-preferred security standards.
Designed for use with PVC-U, timber and composite doors, the handle features a lever/lever configuration and incorporates a dimple grip indentation intended to improve usability. It is available in five finishes to suit a range of door styles.
The handle is manufactured from a combination of 304 stainless steel, aluminium and zinc alloys, and has been cycle tested to 100,000 operations. It also conforms to BS EN 1906 performance standards. Carl F Groupco says the product is supported by a 10-year mechanical guarantee and a 20-year surface finish guarantee.
Coop added that the addition strengthens the company’s wider hardware offering, which includes products from multiple manufacturers.
