Hörmann Expands FIT Show Presence

Hörmann UK has confirmed it will return to FIT Show 2027 with its largest exhibition presence to date, doubling its floor space compared to previous years.

Located at the entrance to Hall 9 across adjoining stands L20 and M30, Hörmann says the expanded footprint will allow visitors to explore its full range of garage and entrance door systems in greater detail.

Stand L20 will focus exclusively on Hörmann’s entrance door portfolio, including the Truedor composite range alongside steel and aluminium entrance doors. According to the company, the display will allow visitors to examine product design, construction quality and security features across the range.

The adjoining stand will showcase Hörmann’s garage door systems, including sectional and roller doors currently specified within the UK market.

Bringing both stands together will be an overall exhibition theme titled “The Hörmann Home”, designed to demonstrate how the company’s entrance and garage door products integrate into residential environments.

Hörmann says it is also exploring plans for the Wednesday evening networking event alongside additional visitor engagement activities, with further details expected closer to the exhibition.

Wolfgang Gorner, Managing Director at Hörmann UK, commented: “While preparations are at an early stage, our plans for FIT Show 2027 signal a bold and confident approach.

“The 2027 show will see us with increased space, clear product focus and enhanced engagement activities all designed to deliver maximum value for visitors and reinforce Hörmann’s strong position within the sector.”

Nickie West, Event Director at FIT Show, added: “Hörmann has been a cornerstone of FIT Show for many years, and their decision to come back in 2027 with a bigger, bolder presence is a huge vote of confidence in both the event and the UK domestic door market.”

West said Hörmann’s expanded presence and “The Hörmann Home” theme would help create stronger visitor engagement while supporting wider promotional activity in the lead-up to the exhibition.
