Robust UK, a manufacturer of steel door solutions, has brought together two popular steel door ranges into one flexible doorset solution designed to simplify the specification of external doors, whilst retaining a wide range of performance, security and configuration options.
ELITE-DOR, which combines the properties of OUTA-DOR and SECUR-DOR 2.1, offers numerous configuration options, including up to two hours’ fire resistance and PAS 24 (2022) security certification.
ELITE-DOR can be designed around the demands of any project, introducing EW120 and EI20 fire performance across its doorset range for the first time, alongside LPS 1175 SR1 certification for single doorsets to provide an additional level of security assurance.
The solution has also been smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3 for both single and double doorsets, extending its performance capabilities and providing greater flexibility for projects with specific fire, security and smoke control requirements.
Thermal performance is an additional key focus as ELITE-DOR achieves a U-value of 1.5 W/(m²K) as standard or 1.3 W/(m²K) on request, exceeding the 1.6 W/(m²K) requirement and providing a solution for projects where thermal efficiency is a priority.
Together, these enhancements give specifiers, architects and contractors greater choice when selecting an external doorset, with performance options that can be tailored to the requirements of individual projects.
