Glazerite has added the Cortizo Bi-fold Plus Door and the Cortizo 4900 HI Slide to its expanding aluminium range as part of a commitment to deliver increased flexibility and choice to its customers.
Featuring ultra-slim sightlines, a smooth bottom-running system and concealed shoot bolt lock, the Cortizo Bi-Fold Plus Door has been developed to help build increased margin at the retail point of sale.
It also features a fully adjustable jamb, offering up to 6mm tolerance on both sides of the door, helping installers square and set the system more quickly while reducing installation time.
Rob Brearley, managing director of Glazerite UK Group, said: “Aluminium is becoming a real growth area for us. The addition of the two new doors from Cortizo to our existing ALUK offer is about consolidating that growth and establishing our position as one of the ‘go to’ suppliers for aluminium bi-folding and inline sliding doors.
“It has cracking slim sightlines – even in comparison to other aluminium systems - and a really smooth running mechanism, which gives it a lot of end-user appeal almost to the point that it sells itself.

The Cortizo Bi-Fold Plus Door is available in multiple panel configurations, including open-in and open-out options, with a maximum sash height and width of 3000mm x 1200mm and a maximum sash weight of 120kg.
PAS24 accredited, it also achieves U-values as low as 0.8W/m²K.
The Cortizo Bi-Fold Plus Door sits alongside the Cortizo 4900 HI Sliding patio door. Accommodating individual sash weights of up to 240kg and maximum widths and heights of 2200mm and 3000mm respectively, it has been designed to deliver minimalist sightlines and installation flexibility.
Rob added: “Sliding patio doors are seeing significant growth. The Cortizo 4900 HI Sliding patio door is an exceptionally flexible product, delivers trouble-free installation and is fully aligned with consumer demand for minimalist sightlines.
“The other big advantage is that it still achieves U-values as low as 1.2W/m²K while still being a 70mm system. This primes it for the replacement market with easier installation and less plaster cut back compared to most aluminium systems.”
Glazerite’s new Cortizo range sits alongside its existing aluminium window offering from AluK and wider trade proposition, including the VEKA range and composite door options from Solidor and DoorCo.
