Endurance® is reporting growing demand for traditional door designs and softer, more natural colours, as homeowners increasingly look to create homes – and entrances - with greater character and individuality.
Latest sales data from the Brigg-based composite door manufacturer shows that designs from its Classic range now account for five of its ten most popular doors ordered over recent years.
While the Etna remains Endurance’s best-selling design, other Classic styles, including Pentland, Scafell, Snowdon and Bowmont, feature in the Top 10, alongside strong-performing Country designs, including Tyree, Mardale and Bredon.
The data reflects trends across many aspects of home design and interiors, with traditional spaces featuring natural materials and more character enjoying renewed popularity.
Colour preferences are evolving too. Anthracite Grey remains Endurance’s most popular colour by a considerable margin, but the company has seen a rise in orders for softer shades such as Pearl Grey, Sage and Chartwell Green.
Speaking about the recent trends in door design, Scott Foster, Group Marketing Director at Endurance, commented: “There’s been a lot of talk about the move away from grey, but our figures show it remains extremely popular. What is interesting, however, is the growing demand for softer, more natural colours and the continued strength of traditional door styles.
“We’re seeing similar trends throughout the home, with homeowners moving towards interiors that feel warmer, more individual and with more character. That same thinking now appears to be influencing the look and feel of the entrance to the home too.”
Hardware is also becoming a more considered choice when homeowners design their door, with many increasingly looking to coordinate finishes throughout their property. Alongside contemporary stainless steel and black options, Endurance offers satin and polished brass, antique brass, and traditional black hardware, enabling homeowners to combine period aesthetics with modern performance.
Continuing, Scott said: “For our Installer Partners, this creates a real opportunity to move the conversation beyond simply replacing a front door with a similar colour and style and instead talk about the entrance as a statement piece and urge homeowners to consider the impact it can have on the overall look and feel of a home.
“Homeowners want choice, but they also want quality, security and durability. By combining those things with the right tools, imagery, content and marketing support, we can really help our Installer Partners to demonstrate the value of a premium entrance.
“Ultimately, it’s about helping homeowners create an entrance to their home that looks, feels and performs the way they want it to – and helping them Elevate Every Day before they’ve even stepped through the door.”
