profine GmbH, a global provider of window and door systems, has announced the acquisition of Profilink, a company based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As part of the transaction, profine is taking over the aluminium and PVC operations of the company, including all system brands as well as employees from the marketing, sales, and engineering departments.
Profilink’s operations will be continued under the umbrella of profine GmbH and the internationally recognized KÖMMERLING brand.
With this acquisition, profine is consistently pursuing its strategy to significantly expand its product segment of aluminium window, door, and sliding systems. The Profilink portfolio is a strong addition – complementing both the aluminium systems developed in-house and the expertise and solutions gained through the acquisition of EFP Facades in October 2024.

The integration of the company marks another milestone in profine’s growth strategy in the European market for aluminium solutions.
The goal is to significantly accelerate the development of the aluminium segment while further strengthening KÖMMERLING as a leading brand for high-quality window and door systems.
