As one of the only PVC-U system companies at this year’s FIT Show, aluplast will be highlighting a new ultra thermally efficient Ideal neo window system and aluminium alternative neo smart-slide door.
The FIT Show will open its doors on 29th April, and is promising visitors a wealth of new products, services and information, the result of nearly one years of development time since the exhibition’s last outing in 2023.
And while momentum for the show continues to build, with less than two months to go before the doors open, aluplast is currently one of only two PVC-U systems companies that will have a presence at the industry’s premier event.
For aluplast’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Ian Cocken, it’s a perfect demonstration of the strength of the business, it’s commitment to new and potential customers and the significant investments it has made in new product development for the UK market.
“We announced our decision to exhibit at the 2025 FIT Show over 12 months ago,” he says. “We’ve continued to invest in our product range since then, bringing a series of new products to the market designed to push the boundaries of product performance. This includes two new systems energeto/Ideal neo and neo-smart-slide, plus our next generation foiling options including woodec and aludec. It’s a complete reimagination of PVC-U window and door systems.”
Ideal neo delivers next generation levels of performance using established window fabrication methods. Part of aluplast’s energeto family of products, it delivers next generation energy efficiency – including u-values of as low as 0.68W/m2K using triple glazing.
neo smart-slide is built around hardware from either Roto, Maco or Siegenia, and has been engineered to deliver market leading performance, achieving BS6375 for weather tightness and PAS24 for security.
It achieves heights of up to 2.5m and a span of 6m alongside excellent levels of thermal efficiency, with u-values as low as 0.67W/m2K.
Ideal neo and neo smart-slide are available in aluplast’s next-generation aludec and woodec. Woodec recreates a natural woodgrain, almost indistinguishable from natural timber in a low maintenance PVC-U product.
aludec applies the same principles to recreate a premium aluminium aesthetic including textured and powder-coated finishes.
Highly popular and seeing major growth since their launch, each is available across the complete aluplast systems range, which in addition to two new systems energeto/Ideal neo and neo smart-slide includes Ideal 70, Ideal 4000, Flush Casement Options, composite door solutions and its new Engineered Door.
Visitors to aluplast’s stand will also have the opportunity to learn more about the system company’s manufacturing processes, which are certified to the environmental standard ISO5001, and how it has taken the lead with its ecotech technology.
This involves extruding recycled and virgin material through two separate feed and into one die, isolating recycled material within the inner profile webbing and leaving a pristine on the exterior walls.
Ian continues: “Another big talking point is sustainability, and that’s going to be a key focus on our stand at FIT Show 2025
“As one of the only PVC-U system companies at FIT Show this year, we’re really looking forward to showcasing the strength of our offer to existing and new customers.”
