Alimax Expands with Innovation

Founded in 2019, the growth of Alimax, has exceeded all expectations of the company directors, growing organically from word of mouth to a multi-million-pound organisation. “Now with the blueprint tried and tested and a full product range on offer at the right price and unbelievable lead times of 5 days, it’s time we expand our market share further in the South and South West” comments MD David Gower, “We’ve got it right and we’re here to be the mainstay of the South” he adds.

Technical Intellegence  - U-Values, G-Values, Mechanical Strength, Wind Loading

As regulations become more stringent and demanding, expertise of the fabricator is imperative. The Alimax sales team work hard to ensure specifications are met for full compliance to building regulation approval. “We don’t expect our installer network to be fully versed to Regs, we are here to help and advice, it’s a team effort to deliver a project, says MD David Gower. “We have standardised and simplified the everyday aluminium products, bifolds, sliding doors and rooflights we manufacture so the technical data is constant and compliant, our installer network will always be covered”.

Quality without Question

There can be complacency within the aluminium industry on quality. Alimax recognises the products are of a value the end user will scrutinise in detail. With a 3 phase QC process throughout the production control system Alimax can eradicate the issues. “This year a comprehensive final inspection has been introduced ensuring nothing slips the net in terms of quality as our reputation is built on quality and we want our standards to be industry leading” says Mark Matthews, Production Director,  “All our products are photographed and videoed pre-packaging creating a quality passport. This included with our new comprehensive foam wrapping, all windows or doors are guaranteed to be delivered in top condition” he adds.

Empowering the People

Alimax believes in managing each member of our team as individuals, it sets a foundation for loyalty and enthusiasm, in every role. Nigel Stephens, Production Manager says, “Enhancing key skills, acknowledging strengths and rewarding successes, benefits us all’. Investments in machinery, our working environment and training programme have encouraged confidence and increased motivation within our teams, and an overall improvement in our productivity, from people we can rely on, ‘To be the best we employ the best.”  Nigel continues, “When you nurture a team and their well-being, it gives rise to innovative ideas and fosters all-inclusive results, as well as a positive response to a new generation of promising fabricators, learning from the OG’s of an almost lost generation. Promoting from within and supporting personal growth and development has helped our business flourish during some very testing times within the industry.”

Price Over Perception

We all adapt and respond to economic changes. Affordability is at the forefront of system houses, manufacturers, installers and clients. Ostensibly, this just accentuates our view of the drive for value, which inspires a new direction for the company. We believe in minimising the carbon footprint, giving support to local businesses, boosting local employment, improving your community’s economy and raising living standards is critical in fostering a new way of thinking. Championing ‘Made in Britain’ should be a primary focus and an intrinsic philosophy to the approach of manufacturing in the UK. Alimaxe are involved in community sponsorships of Fordingbridge Turks FC, Men’s 1st division team and Verwood Vixens FC U10’s girls team, helping with their pursuits to raise funds for the football season.
