Following the announcement that Neil Evans, sales director, has been appointed MD of Veka plc, Veka has now announced the new sales management structure.
Whilst Neil retains his board responsibility for the ongoing leadership of the sales team, Amy Grundy & Matthew Adaway, will be promoted to Divisional Sales Directors where they will continue to lead the field based activity of the business from account management to new business development. Each will take on extra responsibilities; Amy will support the internal Sales Support & Customer Service effort and Matthew will lead the national team of Technical Service Engineers.
Having been with the company since 2007, Amy has been responsible for growing sales in all areas of the business from installer programmes, including Independent Network, to window profile and, in recent years, leading and developing her team. Matthew joined from VELUX in 2017, having worked with Neil previously, where he built his sales skills since evidenced in developing his team, accounts and driving new business.
Further to this change, Paul Kennington, current Head of Technical, will be promoted to Technical Director recognising both his strong contribution to date, the plans in place for the companies future, and their intent to influence an increasingly complex external environment.
Neil comments; “Recognising that the MD role at VEKA plc is very much sales focused in the eyes of our customers, I will continue to lead the sales team. That said, with the additional scope of my new role, this is a fantastic opportunity for members of my established strong sales management team to step up and rise to the challenges of their new positions.”
