Record Breaking Nominations
More than just kudos for a job well done or yet another addition to the silverware in a company’s trophy cabinet, business awards increase a brand’s credibility for the winner and finalists, provide avenues to reach new audiences and boost pride in the business for employees.
For systems company Liniar, 2019 has already been a record breaking one for award nominations, short listings and finalist positions – and it isn’t over yet. Marketing Director Sue Davenport, comments, “The fenestration industry has faced a range of ups and downs over the last 12 months including the uncertainty of Brexit and the instability of the marketplace inevitably caused by it.
In the past, Liniar has refrained from entering awards unless we had something to shout about, and this year with more product launches than ever before, service levels at all-time highs and increased investment in innovation and sustainability – it was time.”
So far this year, the company has been listed as a finalist or winner in:
Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – Manufacturer of the Year
Derby Telegraph Awards – Apprentice Employer of the Year
Derby Telegraph Awards – Excellence in Manufacturing
Made in the Midlands – Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)
Midlands Business Awards – Manufacturer of the Year – Winner
Business Leader Awards – Manufacturing Excellence
G19 Awards – Sustainability Initiative of the Year
Recently, the National Fenestration Awards shortlist was announced and Liniar along with her sister company Avantek have been listed for a whopping seven awards.
Sue continues, “Being listed for this many awards lets us know we’re doing something right – and with the change in typical judging panel for an open voting situation it gives our peers, customers and homeowners a chance to participate to push their favourite company to the top.
“We hope that everyone in the industry pulls together and gets involved in the voting process and we can’t wait to see who wins!”
