Spectus Windows Provide Finishing Touch For New Build Development In Derbyshire
Spectus fabricator Titan Trade Windows has installed 65 Elite 70 casement windows and doorsets in the first phase of a substantial new build development with Woodall Homes in Derbyshire.
The 78-house new build development is situated in the rural Derbyshire suburb of Bolsover. It is a mixture of two, three and four bed detached houses and bungalows all of which are finished to a very high specification and that includes the windows. White casement windows that meet Document Q compliance and achieve a window energy rating of 1.2 W/m²K are required for all properties in the development but without compromising on the window aesthetics. Ben Vowles, Operations Manager, commented: “We have a great relationship with Woodall Homes and have worked with them on six of their previous new build developments. We have a proven record for delivering projects on budget and to deadline and this on-going project will be no exception.”
Ben continues: “As soon as the apertures are ready, our survey team visit the site on a plot by plot basis and ensure we get the installers to site as soon as the scaffolding is removed. All plots are quoted and manufactured at plan-stage and our longstanding relationship allows us to communicate regularly ensuring the multiple plot site runs seamlessly throughout the call-off process.”
The project is the perfect example of what can be achieved with businesses working closely together. And the same can be said with Titan’s excellent relationship with Spectus Systems. Ben said: “Having in-full deliveries and superb after-sales support from Spectus Systems has allowed us to continually deliver on quality and price to secure such longstanding relationships”.
Established in 2004, Derbyshire-based Titan Trade Windows are building a strong reputation with housebuilders in the area. In Spectus they have a systems house capable of supporting their requirements and commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of their work.
