New Staff At Distinction Are A Sign Of Investment In Quality And Customer Service
Composite door manufacturer Distinction Doors has announced the recruitment of two new staff members in a move showcasing their commitment to investment in quality and customer service.
Dean Hempshall joins as Quality Health and Safety and Engineering (QHSE) Manager while Przemyslaw Dojlidko, or Joe, steps into an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role.
Dean, who moved from Howdens Joinery in March, will be tasked with improving the company’s reputation for quality and service by monitoring non-conformance reports and implementing measures to eradicate issues in the production process or supply chain. Explaining his plans, Dean commented: “Distinction is the longest established composite door manufacturer in the UK and has earnt an enviable reputation in the last 20 years, however there is always room for improvement. My long-term goal will be to dig deeper into the data captured on our machines to build an even more comprehensive picture of our processes, and really fine-tune our production procedures.”
Joe started in February and forms part of Dean’s team. Inaugural in the newly created role, Joe was brought in to devise and oversee a comprehensive maintenance programme that supports an upsurge in productivity by minimising machinery downtime. Joe said: “It was an exciting prospect to be the first person in a brand new role. Distinction’s foresight in recognising the need for a dedicated resource exemplifies how serious they are about continually striving to be the best in the business.”
Gareth Williams, MD, commented: “Distinction’s biggest asset is our staff, and Dean and Joe are no exception. I’m delighted that they have both joined the fold, and with their input, I’m confident that we will continue to go from strength to strength.”
